Trunk Coffee : Brewathome No, 8

Hi all!! Hope you are all doing well!!

It has been a little while, sorry for the delay!! I have been back to work and working lately!

Basically brewing coffees at work as well as at home! lol

But I do have the time to write the post today, so i am gonna be sharing another single origin package from good coffee roasters set!

The next one I tasted is from Trunk Coffee in Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture!!!

Address : 28-24 2 Chome, Izumi, Higashi Ward, Nagoya, Aichi, 461-0001, JAPAN

This is a coffee roastery located in Nagoya and it is roughly in the middle part of Japan!

I have never been to this city itself, so of course I have never been to this shop either,

but I knew the name of the shop!

I checked their website and they also have a coffee stand and bar with some craft beer!

It seems they also do alcoholic drinks on top of their quality specialty coffee!!

In the cafe, they use variety of colourful coffee mugs to drink in and they sell origami dripper with loads of colour choices!!

Anyway, this shop chose to include ethiopian coffee to this collab set!!

Here is the detail about the coffee I received!

Country : Ethiopia

Region : Kaffa, Oromia

Process : Washed

Altitude : 1,470 - 1,800m

Vatiery : Heirloom

Tada!! It is brewed!!

The recipe is;

Dose ; 15.0g

Grind size Medium-fine

Yield ; 235g

Temp ; 90C

Brew time; 3, 30 secs

Basically this method is the same as the last ethiopia from Leaves coffee!

This again is classic Washed Ethiopian Single origin that has a black tea like notes and lemony acidity!

It also has a peach and orange notes and floral aroma, I also caught brown sugar taste in that!

It ended really smoothly after.

I have been trying Ethiopian coffee from loads of farmers and regions but I have never heard and tried this one from Kaffa, so it was a really unique experience for me!

Made me realise that I need to try coffee more from different regions and places as each region has their own characteristics and stuff!

If i ever had a chance to go, I'd definitely try this shop one day!!

There we go guys!!

Now I have tried four roasters out of five, obviously the next one up is the last one!

It has been really good journey getting to try coffees from different shops!

I am excited to taste the next, but little sad that it is the last one, but not least for sure!!!

I will try to find time to upload the post as soon as possible!

So, until then cheers!!

Y
