Hi guys!! It is again that time that i brew coffee at home!!
Let's brew some coffee today as well!! I just finished sharing my home brewing experiences with you all from and coffee roasters!!
it was a set of four different single origins that I bought from them!
And I have tried all of them and shared my thoughts and details about the coffee!
In the mean time, I was planning what coffees to buy next so I can introduce more on here! Then This amazing community came up with this idea called ' online coffee fest' !
where they packed a 5 x 30g of each different roaster in a box to send to buyers!!
The name of this community is called Good Coffee! It normally offers News and Media
on their website but they also have an online shop to provide this opportunity!
Apparently it was their second attempt to hold this online coffee festival, but I missed the first one with another 5 different coffee roasters across Japan!!
Within this package, they gathered five different popular Japanese roasters. This time, 'Single O,' 'Switch coffee', 'Leaves coffee', 'Manly coffee', 'Trunk coffee'!!
Surprisingly, I only knew three of them in advance although previously I have never tried any of their coffee, so it couldn't be any better opportunity to buy an try and enjoy their coffee for me!!
So I made the decision to purchase this set of coffees instantly and as soon as its open to ordering, I clicked to order!! haha
It wasn't pricy and really affordable as well so I didn't have any hesitation!
So as there are five of them, I am going to try all of them one each separetely and therefore, there will be five more posts confirmed from this package!
Anyways, It was a difficult decision to choose which one to start with but I decided to keep it simple and gonna try in order of how it was packed!
And then the first comes to this! ' Single O '
I have known of this shop for a while, but I have never had a chance to visit to the shop although I wanted to go, now it is a hard time to do so anyway..
So it was a great chance for me to try their coffee and to find out!!

Website ; https://singleo.jp/
Address ; 2 Chome-23-2 Kamezawa, Sumida City, Tokyo 130-0014, Japan

I am dropping the the shop website and location above, so if you are interested in, please go ahead to check it out!
So basically this one is the only blend coffee out of five and the blend name is kinda funny! It is called 'Stimulus!" This is apparently limited blend they created to tackle during this difficult time with Covid-19. Literally means stimulate people's coffee time and more importantly to bring the economic back by buying this coffee!
This blend is consisted of Kenya Nyeri and Costa Rica Tarrazu. I found this blend quite new as i don't really drink blended coffee first of all and unique single choice!!
Thats is all the information I could find about each of the coffees in the blend!
So, let's get on with brewing this coffee now!!

Here is the recipe! Since it was a 30g in each pack, so i used to 15g for each brew so I can finish perfectly!!!
Method ; Hario V60
Dose; 15,0 g
Grind size; Medium-fine
Yield ; 230 g
Temp; 88 c
Brew time ; 3. 30 mins

Ta-da!! There you go guys!! Its brewed!!! I haven't tried blended coffee itself for such long time apart from the ones I have at my work place!
As for the tasting comments, it has a bright lemony acidity with a sweet like caramel, it also says buttery shortbread notes, although they are purely reference,
I also tasted a bit of raspberry note as well.
It was a well-balanced, clean cup. Nice blend for your morning coffee that doesn't get you bored and want to drink every morning.
On the website, it says this blend also suits for espresso based drinks like latte as well!
I only have 15g left now, so wont be enough to pull a shot, they sell 250g on the shop,
it will be more than enough to try so!

I also took a cheeky picture for Instagram!!
Overall, it is a really enjoyable cup and I feel like I wanna brew the rest of 15g as an iced pourover i am sure it will work with ice too!!
Anyway, I kicked off another series of brewathome posts nicely, the next I will try is switch coffee!! so As soon as its ready to be up, I will work on the blog to share!
Until then, see ya!!
Cheers!
