Leaves Coffee Roasters ; Brewathome No, 7

Hi there guys!

I am here again doing another brew at home post today!

Its been since yesterday, so you'l get to enjoy reading this series two day in a row,

which can be a rare case for me! haha

Today one is the one of the most exciting ones and curious out of all that I have wanted to try for such long time!!

This shop is in Tokyo i will leave the address later as usual, but yet I have never had a chance to visit even if I did go to tokyo before this pandemic occured.

And also I have known this place as well, but I ended up visiting other places at the end then I regretted that and I thought I had to wait for more to actually bring my foot into the shop!

On top of that, I remember their opening hours is limited, so my schedule and their operational hours didnt fit! haha

But, good news is one of their single origins are also featured for this five roasters kit!

Let me introduce to you this 'Leaves Coffee Roasters'!!!

Address ; 1-8-8, Honjo, Sumida Ku, Tokyo, 130-0004, Japan

I suggest that you should check out their website, too coz it is really cool!

There is a little clip about how this business was founded and concept of the roaster and all that so highly recommended to have a look!!

It also has a simple English sub, so you might be able to understand the message from owner !!

And for this roaster kit they choose to offer the Ethiopian single origin!

It is classic ethiopian natural that can't go wrong!

I am giving you some details of this coffee down below;

Country ; Ethiopia

Region ; Gedeb, Worka

Process ; Natural

Altitude ; 1,900m - 2,100m

Variety ; Heirloom

I brewed this one with the similar recipe to the last one, I will quickly share that here, too.

The recipe is;

Dose ; 15.0g

Grind size Medium-fine

Yield ; 235g

Temp ; 92C

Brew time; 3, 30 secs

As this one is also light roast, i thought the similar style would work and kept it consistent.

The result of this brewing was also successful to me!!

In terms of tasting, this is really classic and represents Ethiopian natural coffee that has extremely strawberry like notes with a hint of blueberry and prune like acidity plus, floral aroma!

It does have a milk chocolate like sweetness ending.

I am so glad I have finally managed to try their coffee although its only one single origin!

So, definitely want to taste more and different coffees from them.

They also have a little coffee stand in the other location, so hopefully I can visit that, too in the future!!!

This roaster is one of them that is growing super fast and getting so many good reviews and I had been wondering why that is and now I can agree with for those enjoyed their coffee!! haha

The next one up is actually also the coffee from Ethiopia with a different process.

So itll be interesting to drink as well.

And if you also are interested to know, please keep your eyes out on the next one too!!

Until then! Thanks you all!

Cheers!!

Y
