Yo! Whats up everyone!
It has been a while again! There hasnt been a quite time on here as I couldn't get around much to go to new coffee shops and try their coffees!
There has also been an emergency declaration in Japan caused us to avoid going out and stay at home instead.
It has been like this for at least a month now, however, the situation in my area is getting better slightly compared to the very beginning of its outbreak.
So, since it is difficult to phisically visit the coffee shops these days, bunch of roasters ad specialty coffee shops are working hard to still keep the businesses survived.
I thought it'd be nice to buy coffees from various shops whilst I am at home, brewing coffee here!
I would like to share my 'brewathome' experience with you all!
And this one is going to be first one I'm doing today!
So, the other day I bought a stay home set of coffee beans from a roastery called
"And Coffee Roasters"!!
It has a four different single origin in the package.
And Ill introduce one of them today !

Origin : Colombia
Region : Cauca, Yotoko
Farmer : Los Almendros
Variety : Geisha
Altitude : 1,600m
Process : Fully washed
Address ; 〒100-0006 Tokyo, Chiyoda City, Yūrakuchō, 1 Chome−1−2 東京ミッドタウン日比谷3F HIBIYA CENTRAL MARKET内
Website ; https://www.andcoffeeroasters.com/

Thee first one I wanted to try was this beautiful Colombian Geisha variety from that roaster!!
One of the reasons I bought this set is to find out their geisha coffee which is well-known for its excellent quality in mostly light roasting!!
Here is my recipe;
Beans weight : 13.0g
Grind size ; Medium fine
Yield : 200ml
Brew Temp ; 91C
Brew time ; 2. 30 mins

Here is the flavour notes that came with it!
It has a darjeeling and jasmine like aroma with pear and fruit tomato notes, kinda complex flavouring. Elegant sweetness and mild mouthfeel!

It was a nice experience for me that the coffee that has a hint of tomato flavour, in fact it did taste like juicy fresh fruity tomatoes!
Although I am not a huge fan of raw tomatoes, I could drink this one with no problems as it has an amazing aroma and other type of acidity!!
I haven't been able to try Geisha variety many times since it is one of the most expensive ones in the industry to be traded.
But this one blew my mind!!!!
Overall, this coffee is amazing!! I have still few more cups to brew with that,
however I have tried another single origin so, I would like to share that on here in the next post!!
Stay home and Stay safe and Brew at home!!!
Cheers!!!
